Lowell W. Berentsen   (A.S. in Aviation Technology, LeTourneau University; B.S., M.Ed. in Industrial Technology Education, University of Idaho).
In 1995, after working 20 years as an airplane and helicopter mechanic in Alaska, I made the radical decision to go back to school and major in history at the university of Alaska Fairbanks to complete my undergraduate work, get my teaching credentials, and work toward a master's degree in education. In 1997, after a brief interruption of going back to work, my wife Karen and I moved to Moscow, Idaho, where I resumed my studies and added a major in industrial technology education at the University of Idaho.
Life in Fairbanks was good, especially in the summer when the darkness was nearly non-existant and one could take outdoor pictures at 11:00 at night. Where do we go from here? "We're lost, but we're making good time." (Yogi Berra)
